Project Description
At Quay 913 in the port of Antwerp, at Noordzeeterminal, FDP supplied and renovated 2,250m of MRS125 rail on steel continuous rail pads.
The renovation process encompassed the following work:
- Removing rails and rail pads
- Sand-blasting rail pads
- Removal of all no-shrink mortar
- Installation of crane rail
- Backfilling rail pads
- Welding rails according to the ‘electrical thermite welding’ principle
